Some Difficulties of High Pure Magnesium Oxide

   The high purity magnesium oxide includes high purity industrial magnesium oxide, high purity silicon-steel magnesium oxide, high purity medicine magnesium oxide and so on. The subject, produce high-purity magnesium oxide and porous strong adsorbent from serpentine rock, was settled in February 1993. After hundreds of laboratory experiments, it made a great breakthrough from the end of 1996 to the beginning of1997. It got the high pure magnesium oxide with more than 98% of purity, and the porous strong adsorbent with lower quality. In January 1999, it cooperated with Meishen Technology. And it got the high-purity magnesium oxide with more than 98% of purity after a successful trial-produce in June 2000. On December 3, it got the high pure magnesium oxide with the content of 99%, and the porous strong adsorbent with higher quality. Since 2001, Meishen Technology started to short run production. From then on, it finished the history that Chinese can not produce high purity magnesium oxide. Chinese magnesium salt production turned a new page. 
   The different industries have different requirements for high pure magnesias indexes. For example, in electron industry, some elements need that the content of magnesium oxide must more than 99%. Except for the physical parameters, the silicon steel magnesium oxide has special requirements to chemical purity. The lower content of CaO and B2O3, the better of it. Because the CaO and B2O3 can reduce refractoriness. The lower content of SO42- and C1- and impurity amount, the better of it. The lower poisonous and harmful element is better in pharma grade magnesium oxide. With the increasingly science, technology and comprehensive national strength, it only can cater to the needs of an economy through continuous innovation.  
   In the last few years, this kind of magnesium oxide was recycled since 2006. Putting in time and energy into the technology improvement, it made a great progress. This technology is the only high and new technology project which can be put into industrial production and has proprietary intellectual property rights. Passing a few years of production practice, this project went through the successful break through from model phase to laboratory, from industrialization production to the perfection and maturity of process engineering, from the high cost to lower energy-saving. It has already form various of magniferous solid-liquid mineral, and produce more than 99% high purity magnesium oxide with different specifications and applications. 
   At present, there are some difficulties for high pure magnesium oxide in domestic market. It affects the development of this industry. With the overall national strength increasing, there is great hope for the development of high purity magnesia.
