Matters needing attention for storing magnesium sulfate heptahydrate

The color of magnesium oxide

    The color of the magnesium oxide mainly depends on the color of ore , the content of silica and caustic soda in magnesium oxide .

    First of all , different places of ore has different color , and the color is  difficult to be changed . The color of the magnesium oxide mainly depends on  the content of silica . Silica is exist as impurities in magnesium oxide , the higher silica content , the more white of magnesium oxide(you can go and look talc , the main ingredient is silica) . However, if the silica content exceeds 8% , it will influence the strength and clotting time of magnesite products . The content of magnesium oxide so-called white is between 5.5% -8% , yellow magnesium oxide is generally between 2.5%-4% .
