The Production Process of Active Magnesium Oxide

    Active magnesium oxide is mainly used in Rubber, Tyre, Adhesive, Convey Belt, Fluororubber, Magnetic Material, Medical Rubber Stopper and other industries.     1.The formation of active magnesium oxide. In the process of magnesite calcination, due to technology, operators and other factors, the kiln temperature is different. When the temperature reaches 400-600 degrees, the internal structure of active magnesium oxide is loosened, the spaces between the crystals is the most, at this time, the activity of magnesium oxide present the highest.

    2. When the temperature reaches 400-600 degrees, the activity is medium. The spaces between the crystals is becoming smaller, which reaches the best range of magnesium cement reaction. And when the temperature reaches or greater than 900-1000 degrees, it will form a burned magnesia, the activity is very low even none. Within a certain range, the higher of the activity, the better of the quality. But it is not suitable for subcooling magnesium oxide, when it has higher activity, the reaction is more intense, lead to the finished product poor quality, easily breakage and lower strength.

    3. Active magnesium oxide, in other words, is the magnesium oxide with hydration ability.
